The VMM, Vision Measurement Machine System can process a huge range or parts of differing shape, sizes, and materials. Some parts that require inspection are even very difficult to reference, or don’t have any reference points, so they can be reliably located on the staging area. The UniMetro VMM FlexFix system has been developed to help users save time and cost whilst delivering fast and reliable fixturing ready for the VMM measuring process. The FlexFix series helps to improve the throughput, reproducibility, and accuracy of the inspection process with the ability to create quick and repeatable fixturing set-ups.

We are offering different sizes option for the base plates and user should select the suitable one based on the VMM machine size and measuring requirement.
VMM Fixture Components
All components are made by precision manufacturing process finished with an anodised coating. Each part is identified with laser marked coding, so that complete assemblies of fixtured components can be catalogued for future use. This helps to remove the variation between different parts or inspection officers, thus increasing their measuring accuracy and repeatability.
VMM Base Plates
For VMM measuring needs contour measuring application under most circumstances, we create the VMM fixtures base plate with high transmittance and flatness acrylic material, which to ensure the straight light path from the contour light, keeping the original measuring accuracy of the machine.
Metal M4 screw threads are mounted inside the base plate, the components can be firmly fixed and highly increase the life cycle of the base plate.
