Description

EMG Precision OCULUS Series 3DC-M1 Dedicated CNC Machine 3-Dimensional Tool Setter for Vertical Machining Centers.

The 3DC-M1 is one of three models in the OCULUS Range of 3D Tool Setters. The Oculus Series consists of the 3DC-M1, a dedicated, hard-wired option for CNC Machining Centers. The second is the flagship 3DR-M1 which is wireless, and using a channel hopping radio technology for reliable and responsive wireless signal communication. The third model in the Oculus Series 3DC-L1, which is a 3D Tool Setter designed for CNC Lathes.

The Oculus 3DC M1 is manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel and features an internal sealing system giving the unit an IP68 environmental protection rating. Capable of operating under a heavy flood of oil and coolant the 3DC-M1 is perfectly suited for the most demanding of professional machining environments.

The 3DCM1 offers an ultra-precision, industrial level of repeatability at less than or equal to 1 micron. The trigger mechanism of the EMG 3DC-M1 has been tested to over 10 million triggers and comes with a full years manufacturers warranty. EMG Precision and a fully capable service and repair centre should your probe become damaged accidentally. In certain circumstances, we can also offer a temporary probe replacement service while yours is being repaired to minimise the disruption you are subject to.
