The GTXi range of precision, modular machine vises are an extremely popular choice of design. This vise is supplied with Pull-Down hardened jaws, available in a smooth face design or v-grooved for extra gripping power. This is a great vise for a multitude of clamping situational requirements.

This vise comes in a range of clamping widths from 100mm to 300mm and clamping distances from 100mm to 600mm with clamping forces ranging from 3000 to 12000N. This vice package comes complete with all the required clamping elements and an instruction manual.

FLEXIBLE MODULARITY

All of the EMG Pro GTXi range vises offered by EMG Precision are modular and can be used interchangeably to provide a customisable range of work holding arrangements. This flexibility means that when combined with a variety of modules and options you can multiple clamp, utilise swivel bases, clamp various shaped work pieces, vertically, horizontally. All options can be easily setup to be hydraulically or pneumatically clamp power controlled.

All of these vises of matching clamping width, are designed and manufactured to be interchangeable. The only difference is the length of the base, which dictates the available clamping distance.

SLEEK & PRACTICAL DESIGN FOR THE WORKSHOP

This range of Vises are a highly, sleek and compact design that has an overall height of only 80mm at 125mm clamping width.  A 125mm wide Vise with a clamping range of up to 150mm weighs only 18kgs so it can be safely moved between machines by a single person. This makes this design of vise extremely practicable in the real world workshop.

We use the very best choice of materials for our vises featuring a surface hardness of up to 62 HRC in a specially treated high quality alloy steel. This ensures a vise that carries an extremely high tension and wear resistance.

SIMPLICITY IN DESIGN

The Quick-Slide compact rack type design of this vise means that the clamping process is very simple and fast. You can change from a small clamping distance to max. opening in seconds. In addition to the manual socket tool mechanical clamping method, it is very simply possible to control the clamping of this vise hydraulically or pneumantically, both electrically or manually.
